From May 17 to 19, 2019, the team representing OJSC “AGAT – Control Systems” – Managing Company of Geoinformation Control Systems Holding” (A.Zhelanov, L.Tocheny) took part in the competition of aeromodelling “The Cup of Ukraine – 2019” (Glukhov, Ukraine). The competition was held in the classes of radio controlled racing models of airplanes.

10 racing crews from 7 cities were among the participants. The crew representing the Company performed in the most technically sophisticated class of aeromodelling – F3D, and showed worthwhile results, taking the 2^nd place.

Summing up the competition, we can conclude that the equipment represented by our team is not inferior in its characteristics to the winner’s equipment and is ready for high-level competitions. The participation in such competition gives the Company access to advanced technologies for the construction of airplane models which allows to organize the production of unmanned aerial vehicles of high degree of complexity at the level of foreign unmanned equipment.

This competition was the first for our team in the sports season of 2019 and became a good training for confident demonstration at the next competitions.

The experience gained at this competition will encourage development of the theory and practice of using unmanned aerial vehicles in our Company.
