The step towards the future profession: Minsk gymnasium students on the excursion to AGAT

This week the students of engineering classes of Minsk Gymnasium No 6 visited the Open Join Stock Company “AGAT – Control Systems” – Managing Company of “Geoinformation Control Systems” Holding for the first time. The visitors have made a real journey to the High Tech world.
What did the high school students see?
- Getting to know the design applications - how the design documentation for the products is developed;
- The Cybersecurity Center is the front line of information protection;
- Special design department – software developers talked about the specifics of their work, and drone specialists talked about the Berkut-3 UAS and showed the stages of its assembly;
- The museum of the company’s history, where the children were told about the importance of the products created in AGAT, the awards of the company and its contribution to the country’s defense.
The specialists told the high school students in detail about the most sought-after engineering specialties, the specifics of admission to universities in these areas, as well as about admission in the target area and its advantages.
The Gymnasium students showed genuine interest in the company and the opportunities that open up for future engineers and programmers.
