On May 14, 2018 OJSC “AGAT Control Systems” and VELCOM cellular operator conducted a joint press conference where they announced on a strategic partnership between the Parties.

Mr. Henadzi Kazakou, Director of OJSC “AGAT Control Systems” and Mr. Helmut Douz, VELCOM Director General, conducted a joint press conference where they announced on a strategic partnership between the Parties in the number of areas of information technology and telecommunication.

At the first stage of cooperation it is planned to implement 8 innovative projects in the field of infocomm technologies. It is assumed that OJSC “AGAT-Control System” resources of navigation and information center   will be transferred to VELCOM data center. This will ensure the guaranteed access to the infrastructure and the reliable provision of services. At the same time, it will be possible to use the computing powers of the Tier III data center, which potentially cover the requirements of the whole country. In the future, VELCOM complex can accommodate the data processing center of the automated system for control and accounting of electric power of the Belarus enterprise.

Another area of cooperation will be the use of unmanned aerial vehicles for the national economy of Belarus. It is planned to apply UAVs for flights consisting of OJSC “AGAT-control systems” vehicles. Our company has obtained the right to conduct aerial activities using UAVs by the order of the President.

The interaction of the two companies opens wide opportunities for the implementation of high-tech projects in Belarus.
