On May 3rd, 2023, on the eve of the celebration of Victory Day, AGAT employees visited a place that is significant for every Belarusian which is the “Khatyn” memorial complex.

The main participants of the excursion are the young workers of the AGAT, as an element of the ongoing work on the patriotic education of youth. The trade union organization of the Company took part in organizing the trip.

On the way to “Khatyn”, the participants of the excursion heard about the hard life of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War and tuned in to visit one of the most impressive memorials of the Great Patriotic War. Moreover, this year marks the 80th anniversary of the terrible tragedy which is the destruction of the village of Khatyn along with the inhabitants by the Nazis in the spring of 1943.

Employees of AGAT laid flowers at the memorial and, as a sign of the unceasing grief of the Belarusian people, honored the memory of all those who died during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 with a minute of silence.

The trip left an indelible mark on the heart of everyone, like a memory of the war, which we have no right to forget!
