A star in the constellation Scutum (The Shield) has been named «АГАТ – системы управления» (AGAT – Control Systems), and a corresponding entry has been made in the International Catalog of Celestial Bodies.    

The name of the constellation is deeply symbolic. The shield is a symbol of protection and defense. This is what we create every day – reliable control systems and solutions that provide a “shield” – both technological and informational. The appearance of “our own” star underscores our commitment to the highest standards, which are now literally fixed in the sky.    

Scutum is a relatively new constellation in the southern hemisphere; it is visible from anywhere in Belarus, and some of its stars can be seen with the naked eye.
