Power supply system

Purpose / Description

The power supply system of railroad automatics and telemetry remote control (hereinafter referred to the as Power supply system) is intended for the power supply of the computer-based interlocking of railway switches and signals of the railroad stations.

Structure

- the input switchboard is intended for input and distribution of three phase voltage of 3N ~ 380V 50Hz to the switchboard of emergency standby from two feeders and standby diesel generator;
- the switchboard of emergency standby ensures the uninterruptible power supply of converting switchboard users and switchboard users by switch-over of users between two feeders and input of the standby diesel generator in case of parameters failure or sudden voltage failure of the power feeder;
- the converting switchboard jointly with the battery switchboard ensures the uninterruptible power supply of converting switchboard, switchboards & switchboards1 users in case of a sudden failure or lack of power supply voltage from the emergency input uninterruptible power supply bus bar;
- the battery switchboard jointly with the converting switchboard ensures the uninterruptible power supply of the users of the converting switchboard, distributing switchboard & distributing switchboard1 in case of a sudden failure or lack of power supply voltage from the emergency input uninterruptible power supply bus bar;
- the distributing switchboard is intended for distribution of AC three phase voltage 3N ~ 380V 50Hz from the power supply bus bar formed by the converting switchboard and forming the equipment with galvanic isolated output power supply poles referring to signals & interlocking equipment;
- the distributing switchboard1 is intended for distribution of AC three phase voltage 3N ~ 380V 50Hz from the uninterruptible power supply bus bar formed by the converting switchboard and galvanic isolated output power supply poles of the signals & interlocking equipment;
- set up of Emergency power-off button.

Performed functions

- input and distribution of three-phase voltage 3N ~ 380 V 50 Hz from two feeders of three-phase alternating current and standby diesel generator;
- manual switching of the load from one feeder to another, disconnection of the feeders for repair and maintenance of the input switchboard units;
- automatic switching of the load from one feeder to another with 0.3 second delay while switching-off, error in sequence of phase interlacing or when the voltage exceeds the limits in any of the phase of the operating feeder as well as automatic switching of the load to the standby power supply from the diesel generator while switching-off, error in sequence of phase interlacing or when the voltage exceeds the limits in any of the phase of both feeders;
- automatic switching of the load from the diesel generator to the feeder when restoring the voltage there with the delay of at least 3 minutes;
- monitor of presence and value of the voltage as well as sequence of phase interlacing of the powering feeders 1 and 2;
- signal output to start and stop the diesel generator;
- uninterrupted power supply of the loads within 15-60 minutes (it is determined by the technical specification or a railroad station design) in case of the power outage at the inputs of the power supply system;
- emergency power-off at the power supply system (by one button);
- protection of loads against pulse overvoltage, lightning overvoltage and switching overvoltage;
- change of phase voltages, currents and power consumption in both feeders;
- visual display of information about the state of the switching units at all switchboards from the power supply system structure;
- remote monitoring and control of the main parameters of the power supply system using standard data exchange protocols;
- lighting inside switchboards;
- uninterruptible power supply of DC input modules voltage of 24V, PC and lights of all switchboards from the power supply system structure;
- distribution of AC three phase voltage of 3N ~ 380V 50Hz from the uninterruptible power supply bus bar;
- distribution of AC three phase voltage of 3N ~ 380V 50Hz from the uninterruptible power supply bus bar;
- formation and distribution of voltage of AC 24V 50Hz;
- formation and distribution of voltage of DC 24V 50Hz;
- galvanic isolation of loads.
